Union/Bakery/Cafeteria - redesigned pedestrian space

The Landscape Architecture masters program recently took 2nd place in an EPA sponsored competition. They redesigned the space in front of the bakery and union. Pretty badass and would tie that whole area together, for sure. Maybe it'll happen... MSU is taking large leaps. With all the watershed mitigation practices, this could be funded with grants and such...

This area is part of the Old Main Plaza. They already have plans to re-landscape it. They just don't have funds. I actually believe there are plans for a fountain or something in the bell island area.

Now that would be badass. First I've heard of this... They've started to put down a brick sidewalk by that area.. Maybe it's the start to something bigger

Not a big fan, seems to make it look more like a mall rather than a historical university area.

I like it. With us having such a good architecture and landscape program I think we need to do more of this on campus. Gives the students first hand experience and makes the campus more appealing without having to hire outside firms that charge out the ***
