Joking aside... WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT THE 17IN CUPS REAKING OF ***???

We have changed cup vendors the last three years and I still have to smell ****...

Even an Auburn fan sitting next to me leaned over and asked me "I don't mean to be rude, but do yall's cups always smell like poo?". It is sickening...

One more thing... OSCAR MAYER OR BALLPARKS!

How would you rate Bracky Brett's aggressive enforcement of compliance compared to other SEC school compliance departments? Would you agree that most other SEC schools' compliance departments are more defensive than offensive?

Stricklin's response to the last person that asked him about it was something along the lines "I have not heard of this before." I'm ready for the new segment the "Chemistry of Football" and they do one about what is used to clean these cups. If the cup's smell overpowers the whiskey in the cup, something isn't right.

I thought Coach34's idea about buying away games and bringing them to Jackson...

...was interesting. I would like to know his thoughts on that and if he would support it.

Could we implement along the lines of fireworks after a score ..using Lasers with the fireworks( only at night). Think how cool it would be to see a laser show with fireworks after a big score. Similar to what concerts do.

We have an ampitheater in the junction. Would it kill them to hire a cover band for entertainment and just back ground noise? Nothing racey. Just tom petty and journey type stuff. I think families would enjoy it.

I mean, we will be tail gaiting for 12 hours next saturday

Along the same lines:

Explain the economics of the 2 and 1 games versus the straight buy game.

What kind of buy game costs does he foresee over the next few years? Is there a way to avoid the away games at podunk U and stick to Memphis, birmingham, new orleans, mobile?

Can we please get back to home and home with Tulane or a 2-1 with Tulane?

I have a jumbotron request...

Ask him to get with the folks that did the "hide the egg bowl trophy." Ya know, when the three bulldogs go spinning around and you pick which one it's behind. All three need to pull out a golden egg since we've owned it three years in a row now.

That concludes my walk into completely trivial matters that aren't that cool but would be kinda neat.

Are there any plans to provide additional places to stay in Starkville on game weekends? $500+ a weekend for a family is insane. There should be a school sponsored condo type setting that families can rent or buy or gain use of through BDC membership.

If they are the same ones the players use in practice, then stop recyling them

Otherwise I'm at a total loss about how cups would ever begin to smell like butt.

Maybe not an AD question but I would like to know why the huge Parking Lot 36 is NEVER allowed to exit off campus via George Perry Boulevard and are forced into the horrible bottleneck up by the basketball practice facility? Other than that I would just like to thank him VERY much for giving us non-local football attending fans at least a one year reprieve from the Thursday night home game garbage!

Does he still run much? I remember he had started running half or full marathons back when he took over. Just curious...

We have a hellacious half / full marathon in Tupelo the first Sunday morning in September which ususally ends up being the morning after our season opener. Tailgating all day on Saturday, going to the game, then getting 4 hours of sleep and running a marathon in 80 degree heat is a nice way to try & kill yourself.

Work the "Go State!" cheer in more, incorporate the Jumbotron if possible.

We did it one time last ball game, and the fan participation was minimal.

Agree. Not sure what's driving that. SEC rules?

We used to do the Go State thing after a big play. Not sure the band is allowed to play after a big play that doesn't stop the clock.

Long Term Stadium Capacity With Expansion Despite Lack of Hotels

Are there any plans to provide additional places to stay in Starkville on game weekends? $500+ a weekend for a family is insane. There should be a school sponsored condo type setting that families can rent or buy or gain use of through BDC membership.

Yes and to add to this.

How is the community going to aid in the growth of the football program and stadium. We do not have ample rooms/ places to stay on gameday weekends to sustain much more stadium growth. For our fans to continue to fill the stadium despite 300 (estimate only) hotel rooms within reasonable driven range shows a great deal of dedication. Is he certain that 5-15k more fans are going to be wiling to make a day trip and drive 200+ miles one way, 7 weeks a year to continue to fill stadium?

That being said, does he feel that the surrounding comminity is fully supporting the program, expansion and ticket demand? Are there any short term building permits to address problem? Does he have any input on city development in such areas? We fans are forking up a lot to support the team every weekend, but do not see that the community is working toward making Starkville more fan friendly.

I've always thought it should be three dogs and a bear. The bear never gets the egg and just shruggs his shoulders at the end.

Ask him if we can cancel the Addidas contract and go with Nike for our uniforms. Think most State fans hate the stripes on the uniforms.

Ask him if he would be interested in marketing the Precinct 913 or Banks for Heisman, for extra publicity, if they continue this interception rate over the next few weeks. I know Banks couldn't really win the Heisman unless we won a National Championship, but it couldn't hurt to get a little extra attention. Remember when Oregon did it with Joey Harrington that year. Just a dumb thought, but he tends to like drawing attention. I'd love to see a big picture of Precinct 913 hanging off of the Butler Snow building in Ridgeland along I-55 or something like that.

Not just no but hell no! We tailgate near the amphitheater and we watch football during tailgate. I do not want some ****** cover band blasting. Tailgating is good, focus on cups and hot dogs...

Wish they would bring back Flick for football and basketball. None of the PA guys we have now have any personality or flare whatsoever.

I have a theory with the cups. I bet they are storing them in a room that is high humidity or moisture of some kind and they are trying to mold.

It gets worse as the season goes on and I would think they purchase enough for the season at one time and store them.

LSU's band has a 1st, 2nd, 3rd down song.

Agree. Not sure what's driving that. SEC rules?

So I'm sure we can play without the clock stopped. I would like to see something like that with our band.
