VHSL didn’t have anyone taking the forfeit in the weekly points breakdown as best I can remember. Still trying figure out why mine was off versus theirs too so who am I to even comment.

Northumberland still has Northampton and Mathews to play I’m assuming 2 wins there. Northampton is sitting at 5-1 how would Ryder points affect that game since this was really a week 2 game ?

Lets say NHS had won those two games, they would be #1 at 19.333 with 116pts.

Whats interesting is if West Point had played Chiconteague by now they would be tied for 3rd with Franklin at 18.6667 (112pts) while Rapp jumps to number 2 at 18.833 (113pts).

I expect Franklin to win out but that doesn't guarantee them the #1 spot. If Rapp or NHS wins out they will capture the #1 seed in the region.

I also think that the 8 playoff spots are already spoken for. I don't see any other teams being able to jump into the Top 8 unless they upset some teams.

If they took the forfeit believe they would be tied with Essex for the 7th spot. Depending on what other teams do, they may move ahead of Essex.

Alot of football to be played so they seedings right now will def be different in a few weeks

I hope it play out like this Franklin play better when they are the underdog know one expected them to do anything this year that chip on their shoulder getting bigger and bigger.
