Unpopular Opinion, Lebby should be at least guaranteed through '27

I don’t hate it. He’s learning, outside of some bonehead decisions and late game heartbreakers this team was a massive step up from last year. KT’s on board, and we’re not seeing a mass exodus to the Portal, yet. Might as well let it ride until a sure-thing HC crops up.

Just offer the coordinator a 3 year contract. Probably our only option.
I think this is it. I don't think the head coach being guaranteed one or two years is going to move the needle with them nearly as much as their own contract. If we extend Lebby through 27, we're basically telling coordinators it will be slightly more expensive to us to fire them after one year, but that money will go to LEbby. Seems like it would be much more meaningful to th em to just have more guaranteed money.

No.
If Lebby doesn’t show substantial improvement next year, he’s got to be gone. It’s 💩 or get off the 🚽.
If we have to overpay and/or overpromise for a DC, so be it, but if you can’t do it in 3 years there’s no way you’re getting a 4th. This isn’t 2006 anymore.

Google says he’s under contract till 2028…. What exactly do you want to be done to guarantee him?

I forgot this is the place where everything is picked over and over and over and over and over....
Let me rephrase it for you then, we won 1 (one) more conference game this season than we did last season. So yes, you and I can agree with what you said, "we did improve a bit"

5-7 is a substantial improvement over 2-10. I'm on board for next year.
