so that we don't hamstring his ability to bring in coordinators.
Just offer the coordinator a 3 year contract. Probably our only option.so that we don't hamstring his ability to bring in coordinators.
I think this is it. I don't think the head coach being guaranteed one or two years is going to move the needle with them nearly as much as their own contract. If we extend Lebby through 27, we're basically telling coordinators it will be slightly more expensive to us to fire them after one year, but that money will go to LEbby. Seems like it would be much more meaningful to th em to just have more guaranteed money.Just offer the coordinator a 3 year contract. Probably our only option.
I think just offering him tenure is the way to goWe should contract him through 2035 so we can have success through continuity like Kermit Davis at MTSU
Best I can tell, he isn't hiring coordinators this year...Nope. He has to win next year. He should have hired coordinators last year.
Google says he’s under contract till 2028…. What exactly do you want to be done to guarantee him?
Not his first mistake.Best I can tell, he isn't hiring coordinators this year...
You’re right, tenure > a 10 yearI think just offering him tenure is the way to go
Just heard Hadad say "confidently" we would have a new DC next weekBest I can tell, he isn't hiring coordinators this year...
Oh yeah, we won our first conference game since Nov of '23 against a team that had already fired their coach because he couldn't beat anybodyKeep improving. It may have been small and inconsistent, but we did improve a bit.
If he will actually get out of the friend zone and go after some real coaches … **** yeah, I’ll give you 2027. Gonna need 3.5 SEC wins though in return though.so that we don't hamstring his ability to bring in coordinators.
Not until Hutzler is shown the 17n door.so that we don't hamstring his ability to bring in coordinators.
We should increase his buyout to $54 million as well just to show others we are serious.*********so that we don't hamstring his ability to bring in coordinators.

Let me rephrase it for you then, we won 1 (one) more conference game this season than we did last season. So yes, you and I can agree with what you said, "we did improve a bit"I forgot this is the place where everything is picked over and over and over and over and over....
5-7 is a substantial improvement over 2-10. I'm on board for next year.Let me rephrase it for you then, we won 1 (one) more conference game this season than we did last season. So yes, you and I can agree with what you said, "we did improve a bit"
