Don't be surprised if MSU is on the short end of the score at game's end. That last sequence where The Dawgs were playing for "the final turnover of the half" is a microcosm of what we should by now expect from a Stansbury-coached team.
State scored 31 points in the first 9:30 of the game....and then stumbled and bumbled to scoring 10, 6 of which came from the free throw line over the last 10:30 of the half. Meanwhile, we allowed 5 foot jumpers by one Aggie who could waltz into a "bumping into each other" post defense to help them. They had scored a measly 9 points in the first 9:30, but scored 23 in the last 10:30. And that is how good teams make up big deficits. They work harder on defense than their opponents and they take what their opponents give them on offense. State may still win this but it is game-on now. And of course if A & M wins, half of the fan base will say that they should win. They are ranked 18 and we are not.
NO Team should win who falls behind 31-9 in the first 10 minutes of a game. Not even against <span style="text-decoration: underline;">our</span> poorly prepared team.
