University Drive was blocked off this morning on my way to work. As far as I can tell, the yellow is road-stripe yellow, the red is fire-zone red, and the blue is handicapped blue.

If it's not Maroon and White, it shouldn't be painted into the most important intersection in Starkville. I know there was a problem with road paint colors that were available, but that's no excuse for something this hideous. What about a cursive bulldogs or hail state and two speed bumps? That would calm traffic more than a ridiculous looking sun.<div>
</div><div>The painting looks good but it's just out of place. I used to live above Bin 612 and never thought they would do this.</div>
Let the University pay for it and no burden on the tax payers. That would make me happy. I can't believe there's a huge *** native sun in front of Bin 612.
You have an intersection less that a quarter mile from a mail entrance to campus and you paint some obscure symbol in the street? I just dont get it. Why not something Miss State related? Its the Camps air..... you're just breathing it.
If it's MSU related, then it's just like everything and anything else in the patch. Ho hum. The uniqueness makes it special and shows others and ourselves that we have more than one fantastic dimension. I am impressed by the way my Starkville now sparkles. What a cost-effective PR move, and one with lasting benefits to boot. Great job, is all I can say.
The only problem I have with it is that it's tooobscure. <div>EVERYONE that I have showed it too has had the exact same reaction. "What the hell is that?" followed by "Why in the hell are they putting that there?" followed by "you're 17n kidding me".</div><div><div>I will say that it's not terrible looking, just odd. The whole thing is a giant headscratcher to me.</div> </div>
