I understand we should be awarded on the totality of the season but recent results are a bad look. This isn't the same team that beat Indiana, Purdue, and a should be win against OSU on the road. Many factors on why. Mag, bench players, missed foul shots, and just lack of focus to name a few. Sad turn of events. We are basically where we were predicted to be in early season projections, but that doesn't mean it's where we should be. Losing last night in that manner is unacceptable and now they put pressure on themselves in a must win probably. It's not easy being a Rutgers fan. Hoping for a win Sunday so we can all take a breath.

Don’t think the lunardi bracket you saw is updated. He just tweeted we’re the first four byes…meaning a 10 seed.

I just hope FANS come out in full force on Sunday--team needs the support though it feels like air has been left out of the balloon big time

1-2 isn't a lock to be out, but it puts us right on the edge and VERY vulnerable to the results of other teams, bid stealers, etc. Even 1-1 is not the lock that people are saying. Really want 2 more wins to completely lock up bid and avoid Dayton

here is the deal, even with a win over Northwestern RU has left it up to the committee so we will be squirming somewhat.

That is your bottom line. Once again RU has an anomalous profile. They do not have to take us.

Not saying they will but not saying they wont

exactly.....there are benchmarks where its obvious to the world where there is no question. We unfortunately have fell into the vat that is called the bubble. You only get out of it but doing something significant.

It works both ways. Last night would qualify as “significant”. But not the good kind.

If we lose to northwestern, I am not sure how we get in without winning at least 1 game in tournament.

I am stating now its 50/50 or less that Rutgers gets in without beating Northwestern.

We are helped the bubble is so small.

The reality is that all bracketologists will have trouble figuring out whats going to happen with Rutgers

What about if we beat northwestern? You think we’re a lock?

I view Palm as our floor and even he has us in Dayton right now so I think it is safe to say if we win Sunday we are in

Who you beat matters most so if we win against NW I think our quality wins get us in
