WVU and its Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will welcome fans back to Milan Puskar Stadium for this matchup on Oct. 17. The stadium will operate at 25% capacity as part of the health, safety and wellness measures being implemented in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

All fans should self-evaluate prior to arriving to the stadium. Fans who might be sick or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms should stay home and contact a physician.

Fans must wear face coverings over their mouths and noses in order to enter the stadium. Face coverings should always be worn while fans are inside the stadium with the temporary exception of when eating and drinking. Face shields should only be worn in combination with a face mask. Fans should provide their own face coverings.

Fans are asked to practice physical distancing at all times whether that's in the ticket lines, at the gates, in line at concessions or restrooms and while in the seating areas.

All concession stands will be open and will offer a limited menu. There will not be individual portable carts open on the concourse and no concession sales will take place in the stands. No coolers will be allowed in the stadium. Pre-packaged food options include pepperoni rolls, peanuts, nachos, candy, chips, kettle corn, bottled water, bottled soda, canned beer and bottled wine. All other food items will be cooked and wrapped individually for sale.

While single-game parking passes will be sold to fans who have the opportunity to request single-game tickets for the remaining games this season, tailgating will not be allowed in the game day parking lots operated by WVU Athletics. The no tailgating policy will be strictly enforced. RV parking will not be available for the 2020 season.

No Tailgating

Fans cannot bring or set up any items normally associated with a tailgate at their vehicles in parking lots controlled by WVU Athletics and satellite lots operated by West Virginia University in order to reduce the risk of large gatherings. Typical tailgate items such as lawn chairs, coolers, grills, tent canopies, tables, etc. are prohibited. Further, fans may not congregate at their vehicles to eat, drink or socialize while waiting to enter the game. Fans are encouraged to park, gather their game gear and finish drinks as they walk directly to enter the stadium.

2020 Milan Puskar Stadium Updates
There will not be a Mountaineer Mantrip.

There will not be a Chick-fil-A Kids Zone in the indoor practice facility.

The Hall of Traditions is not open this season due to the space being renovated.

Phone charging stations are not available at the stadium this year.

Stadium seatbacks will not be available for rental this year. Portable stadium seats no larger than 18" are allowed as long as they are armless and do not overhang the bleacher or infringe on the seat space of those around you.

To provide a safer environment for Mountaineer fans and to expedite entry into all ticketed WVU athletic events, the West Virginia Department of Intercollegiate Athletics enforces the NFL's Clear Bag Policy. The athletic department invites and encourages fans to visit WVUsports.com/clearbag for more information, to view pictures of permissible and non-permissible items and to obtain answers to frequently asked questions about the clear bag policy.

Fans are asked to reduce what they bring to the stadium this season to minimize contact points and bag searches. When security personnel check bags at the gate, they will not be divesting the bags – each fan will be responsible for showing the contents of his/her individual bag. This includes fans removing all items from their bag for inspection as needed. For quicker entry, do not bring bags inside the stadium.

The following gates are ADA accessible: Northwest, North, Northeast, Southeast and Southwest.

Fans are not permitted to smoke or vape at Milan Puskar Stadium, and designated smoking areas will not be available at the stadium this season.

Tickets

The matchup with the Jayhawks is presented by Dan Ryan Builders. With the 25% capacity limit, first priority to purchase tickets is given to previous season ticket holders, WVU students and player families. If tickets remain for the game, an announcement regarding general public availability will be made on Monday, Oct. 12.

The Mountaineer Ticket Office opens at the stadium North Gate at 9:30 a.m.

All tickets will be distributed through mobile delivery. Athletics already announced the switch to mobile ticketing at all gates for football to provide a contactless entry, which is the most sanitary, efficient and quickest way to enter a sporting event. Mountaineer fans will download and store tickets to their Apple or Android smartphone, which will never leave the owner's hands and avoids additional touching from stadium security. More information on mobile ticketing is available at WVUsports.com/MobileTickets.

Fans are encouraged to download their tickets to their Apple Wallet or recommended Android Wallet apps prior to arriving at the stadium on game day. If you have questions about mobile ticketing, contact the Mountaineer Ticket Office at 1-800-WVU GAME.

Season ticket holders wanting to take advantage of their priority status should log in to their online WVUGAME.com account at http://www.WVUGame.com/MyAccount. Priority requests will only be taken online. The Mountaineer Ticket Office reserves the right to limit all orders and will assign the best available seat locations. Fans should call 1-800-WVU GAME for customer service assistance and more information on the single-game ticket and parking sales processes.

To ease concerns from the COVID-19 pandemic, season ticket holders from last season who did not renew their tickets in 2020 and/or purchase available single game tickets in 2020 will still be given priority to purchase their same seats from the 2019 season for the 2021 football season.

WVU's stadium capacity plan will continually be evaluated and adjusted throughout the season, and fans will be updated of any changes based on any future changes to the status of the Covid-19 virus on the WVU campus and locally.

Wireless Access Points
Additional wireless access points have been installed near the NE, NW, SE and SW gates to help fans download their mobile tickets on game day. Please visit WVUsports.com to locate a map showing the areas with enhanced wi-fi for ticket download.
