With a 3 way tie between us, bama, and auburn... what gives us the advantage over them? Is it combined record against each other (we're 4-2 against those two...).<div>

With 1 game left in the season, the current #6 and #7 seeds have both clenched spots in the tourney, but the #2 seed still has work to do. I don't think I've seen a scenario like that before.

exactly we are 4-2, Bama is 3-3, and Auburn is 2-4. That is first tiebreaker in 3 team or more tie.

The scenario where Alabama and Auburn lose would give us a better seed.

Hopefully my math is right here...<div>
</div><div>To win West:</div><div>1) MSU win - Bama loss and OM to win 1 of 2 (Auburn's outcome doesn't matter b/c we own the tiebreaker)</div><div>2) MSU win - Auburn win and OM to win 1 of 2 (if Auburn wins, Bama's outcome is negated because we own the 3 way tiebreaker)</div><div>
</div><div>Right?</div>

tourney? If so, that kind of sucks for the east. Let's face it, there is USC, Vandy, UF and then a big drop to everyone else. The top of the east is sick this year and includes the national champs.

Any team in this tournament can potentially win the thing. I think it will be how the cards play out once next weekend gets here, because any team that will make it has the potential to beat anyone else.
