I was just told that Seton Hall is opening at least one section, but only for Seton Hall students. This saga gets stranger.
Another reason they are South Orange Community College.I was just told that Seton Hall is opening at least one section, but only for Seton Hall students. This saga gets stranger.
Or go and try to buy from scalpers or check with the box office for last minute ticket availabilityWe should just storm the building
You mean like the this…Has to kill them that they beat No. 7 Texas last night and the Ledger was filled with articles of RU’s upset of No. 1 Purdue! I think they mentioned the Halls win on page 7.![]()
Good point above. This is a case of RU did this to SHU at the Rac two years ago and now they are pulling the same stunt.I hate to go this way but idk how this wasn’t negotiated ahead of time by us
The Ledger is still a thing?Has to kill them that they beat No. 7 Texas last night and the Ledger was filled with articles of RU’s upset of No. 1 Purdue! I think they mentioned the Halls win on page 7.![]()

...and Seton Hall said "no." Which is their "right" as the home team, unfortunately, not much Hobbs could do here. Why would RU negotiate for SHU to collect more gate $ ?
Maybe they would negiotate for more dedicated away team tickets.
Yes. Absolutely. It would still be overwhelmingly RU fans.Let’s be honest. Do you think RU would add 2000 seats to the RAC’s normal capacity with the option for Seton Hall fans to buy up a ton of the tickets if that was possible? It’s a rivalry game!
Oh boo hoo! It's a rivalry game. This is part of it. These kinds of slights make it that much more intense.Yes. Absolutely. It would still be overwhelmingly RU fans.
That's why SHU are such p*ssies. They know they will lose their home court advantage.
Every single poster would want Rutgers to do the same thing SHU is doing. People would want Hobbs head if he chose revenue over having a home court.
Both schools used to do that every year and the visitors would send a couple busses of students up until Rutgers decided to end it 2 years ago and block SHU fans out instead. This is just SHU returning the favor. I agree, I would like to see it get back to how it used to be.SHU should minimally open a section up for Rutgers students but they won’t.

NO WAY. Why help your opponent?I dunno if we had 10,000 additional seats to open up and let our own students sit up there I would at least extend the same offer to the opposing teams student body.
They were afraid of your complaining about the OOC….wasn’t an option. How about not playing

Two years ago , SHU had a decent student contingent in the 300 level at The RACBoth schools used to do that every year and the visitors would send a couple busses of students up until Rutgers decided to end it 2 years ago and block SHU fans out instead. It was 2 years ago, so maybe my memory's foggy, but I don't recall that being the case. Two years ago , SHU had a decent student contingent in the 300 level at The RAC
