Just restocked my freezer with a half steer from a local rancher.

only acceptable way to buy beef.

We had a freezer die the other day and are debating a stand up vs chest. But that decision is needed before we can order a qtr beef / half hog. I agree, its the way to go.

see my other post....not disagreeing with you ..only that if you believe supply and demand theory, importing eggs increased supply.....but, as you point out, that was not the only factor at play..

And like someone else posted, if we blame trump for beef shortage, it's fair for him to claim egg price credit...but I don't agree with either of those. Presidents have little to do with bird flu or drought

Not true in GA. Price of ground beef is about what its been for the last few years.

Exceptions to the norm always exist.

If what you day is accurate. And what it may mean is prices in Georgia were artificially high beforehand.

I do the 80/20 and get the 3lb logs for 21. Thats within a dollar of what its been the last 4 years. Now they have sales on top of that where i can get 85/15 cheaper and other options. I will hit the closeout section too for great deals.

If you were paying $7/lb a couple years ago, you were definitely getting ripped off.
