  1. 2001 Miami
  2. 2005 Texas
  3. 2004 USC
  4. 2011 Bama
  5. 2009 Bama
  6. 2008 Florida
  7. 2012 Bama
  8. 2000 Oklahoma
  9. 1999 Florida State
  10. 1998 Tennessee
  11. 2003 LSU
  12. 2006 Florida
  13. 2010 Auburn
  14. 2002 Ohio State
  15. 2007 LSU

I would say #1 is correct. I think that Texas team is too high though. Not much respect for the Florida teams either from the mid 2000's.

The 05 Texas team is pretty high and probably has something to do with their championship game being one of the best ever. I'd still take Newton over Young head to head though.

Yeah, to me 2005 Texas basically equals 2010 Auburn. There was probably a little more defensive talent on the 2005 Longhorns (Cedric Griffin, Michael Huff), but not enough to be 10 spots ahead of them.

That list is ********. I'm not buying that the conference that has won 9 of the 15 titles has 5 of the 6 worst champions and none of the 3 best.

Texas and USC 2004 are too high. I still refuse to believe that 2004 USC was even the best team that year, much less the 3rd best NC from teh BCS era. Texas gets too much credit for beating an overhyped USC the year after. I would also put the 1998 Tennessee below 2010 Auburn and the 2006 Florida.

That's.....well that's actually a very valid point. But I will agree with '01 Miami as the best.

I have to agree with that. 04 USC benefited from playing a weak conference, and an undeserving OK for the BCS title. Not saying Auburn would've won, but it would've been a much better game.

Love how the top 3 are non-SEC teams....another reason I'll be cheering for Aub to stomp that *** tonight

I'll take a Cam Newton led team over any. I hated him then and still do now but I don't see anyone beating him. He's the best qb I've watched in this era of college ball.

Out of all the teams on that list, 2011 Bama is the one I would least want to face. 2012 Bama would be #2.

2005 Texas probably doesn't win that game if replay was what it is today. Just sayin'. #2 has to be last year's Bama team. ND earned the regular season #1 spot and Alabama made them look like a junior college team.
