Is ESPN trying to make this game relevant? Is there any way USC doesn't beat Ohio State by three touchdowns? I have them locked in at -11

you can take that to the bank. it will be somewhat of a game but usc should put it to them...especially if beanie wells is not playing. I have no confidence in Ohio State in big games now after the past few flops.

It'll probably be retroactively billed as the real national championship game. We just need to make sure that USC doesn't win it this year.

The good news is if USC wins, we probably won't see Ohio State in the NC again this year.

I'm tired of hearing about the Big 10 and how they're "just as good as the SEC" and how the SEC having more speed than the Big 10 is a myth.

I agree and I am really hoping USC beats them so badly that we just won't hear about them till next year. I think USC is legit this year and I really hope to see them vs whatever SEC team decides to pick up the torch.

But I just get the feeling like OSU is going to 'sneak up' on USC (as much as a number 5 can sneak up on a number 1)...normally I'd be agreeing with you guys but for some reason I get the feeling OSU is going to pull this one off...we'll see.

Im going to call you crazy. MSU has as good as a chance at beating USC as OSU does...

I think we're going to see a very different Ohio St. team than we saw last Saturday against Ohio. They're better than many SEC fans give them credit for and USC isn't as good as their hype. If the game were in Columbus, I might could go for the upset, but not at USC.

Sanchez will throw picks... I wouldn't lock this one in for that reason... if there are no turnovers, USC covers easily.

We either run all over them or fall short of expectations. I do believe that whether Beanie plays or not will have little impact on the outcome of the game. I think that the game will hinge on the two offensive lines. If Sanchez gets enough time to throw, tOSU should just book a flight for half-time, because it will be over. If not, I suspect the Buckeyes will keep it close and potentially spoil our season.

That being said, I am not feeling terribly queasy about the outcome and expect to be sitting on the patio with a couple of Margaritas tomorrow in celebration of beating the Bucks.

USC is going to be up and ready to get in their ***. They also want to beat them like an SEC team does.

Yeah, I'm sure Pete Carroll has spent all week saying "Ugh c'mon guys. Let's beat 'em like an SEC team." Of course if you are trying to say like USC has beaten up on SEC teams lately, then - yes - he would probably take that.

Where exactly are you hearing "about the Big and how they are just as good as the SEC"? I'm not hearing that anywhere.

film with the players, they refer to the upcoming opponents as "those guys in white" or "those guys in blue." Obviously, it does not always work... ask Stanford and Oregon. My point is that he really does not compare the Trojans or their opponents to anybody else. It seems to work most of the time.
