that with the flak coming from the assistant who was a Gianinni person who'd been there for a longer time than Hammond (who's not been in the department for as long-- having been career military (a former general) and is seen as much more of a USM person having played for the Eagles) and is just upset that even though it appears that Hammond is going to get the permanent AD position that he shouldn't be considered the heir apparent (even if he was anointed as such by Rick Cleveland a few months ago).
