Fun game so far. Let's keep this going for the next 1.5 months. Anyone going to Chicago next week?

Typical Pochettino era USMNT: Free flowing on offense. Less sound in possession than under Berhalter, but more willing to take the risk it takes to score goals, and shaky on defense, particularly on counter attacks.

I almost forgot the U.S. plays soccer. Is the World Cup still happening or is everyone gonna bail because Trump is still the President and the Mexican cartels are kidnapping everyone?.................

In all seriousness, though, regarding that second one, I truly don't know how they can guarantee the public's safety in the Mexican host cities.

To be fair; the shaky defense has been here since the 90s.

No chatter about the game today? I didn’t get to sit and lock in entirely for this game but I thought the us looked great. Didn’t get the win but I think the us should be feeling pretty good heading in to the tourney. The US goal was a thing of beauty. Banger. Game wasn’t so “friendly” at the end. Thoughts?

I was at the game and heading back now. I agree, yeah Germany was better but we hung with them and had chances the get an equalizer at the end. A healthy Chris Richards would do wonders for this team

This was the 2nd "send-off" friendly that I've been to. Something fun about them. Really had a good time

I wanted to to but couldn't/ didn't want to spend $200. I'm still very bitter about the WC prices so I was a little jaded about it. That said, it was a good atmosphere on tv.

I didn't feel that we were terribly outplayed by Germany. The last 15-20 of the 1st half and the first 5-10 of the second was tilted in our favor. Need to find ways to get shots on frame when we had looks. Pulisic looked pretty good but just couldn't find the openings to get stuff away from defenders. Germany's 1v1 defending was so good today.

I will admit that I was rooting for Miles Robinson to be in the squad forever but that was before 22 when he tore his achillies (and got arrested). He just hasn't been the same guy since. Chris Richards would have been solid in this game today and Robinson struggled.

Robinson had a banger and I thought did fine defensively.

I'm not sure Balo had more than 5 touches.

Dest is fun on the outside but Freeman, I thought, struggled a bit.

I wish Banks would choose the US and we would have Richards and Banks but I dont think it will happen.

It pays off to be a member of a supporter's section. My ticket through the American Outlaws was only $50 today

Wait, what? Through the US soccer app or through the Outlaws themselves?

Supports sections are the best. Like a student section for everyone. The only annoying thing is the flags in your face all game.

Yeah, they got a deal with US Soccer. It's only for US Soccer hosted games though. I paid for my tickets back when they went on sale in December but they didn't actually send them to us until last Monday. It only goes through October so we'll see if the deal continues

Dang it, I'm even in that and totally missed it. I didn't get tickets yet incase our team made it to state. Instead we pooped the bed and got upset...
