ole miss would get to play at home, but Im not sure how big of a benefit that really is. UVA has now given up 5 runs in their last 4 games...total. 3 of those games against national seeds. They rank high in numerous hitting and pitching cats in the ACC.

mississippi would get to host.

Virginia got screwed having to go out west, maybe the NCAA would apologize to them by letting them host a super.

but I can guarantee Virginia wouldn't be able to out-bid us, and they probably would come in at maybe half of our bid at best, and I'm pretty sure they use seeding as a factor in determining the host for a Super. If we win tonight, there is probably a 99% chance we host the Super.

it generally takes something odd for a higher seeded team to not host. And with one of the best atmospheres in the game and the figures they are drawing, that odd circumstance does not exist.

UVA would deserve it over UM. The way they went through the ACC tournament then Strassburg then Irvine twice.... scary. But a 1 seed should host over a 2, regardless. The NCAA would just be punishing UM for their own mistake.</p>
