Baylor and Providence gaining traction.
Never mind, saw Pilgrims update.Baylor and Providence gaining
This kid apparently wants to help a program turn things around and make a mark. Different.lmao....Providence and Baylor....what a time to be a fan.
Plenty of opportunity to turn UK aroundThis kid apparently wants to help a program turn things around and make a mark. Different.
Not sure Pope lands anyone else of note.
But it starts with turning the thing around that hes never been able to do, recruitPlenty of opportunity to turn UK around
This is it - the issue is that I think his rep has been made at this point and agents/kids are going into meet him knowing it. The UK name/$$ will have just enough clout to make it interesting, so we'll be in there for local kids or transfer who are $$ motivated. If you get your hopes up for Basketball recruiting with Pope at the wheel, that’s on you at this point.
Stop. UK is top 5 in NIL spending. Pope just sucks at this.Schools with no football like providence have a massive rev share nil advantage.
I'm not getting my hopes up for the season. Hopefully only have to suffer through another mediocre season before we get a real coach in here.If you get your hopes up for Basketball recruiting with Pope at the wheel, that’s on you at this point.
Didn’t say they aren’t. Just said those schools are at an advantage. All the rev share can go to basketball with no football. Meaning don’t need boosters to constantly step up as much to cover the difference. Rev share is also guaranteed easy money.Stop. UK is top 5 in NIL spending. Pope just sucks at this.
You say that but they don’t have any money to begin with. Football is where the money comes from. Not having a team can’t be a positive.Schools with no football like providence have a massive rev share nil advantage.
God. How cringe. Was this the picture MJ was talking about KSR yesterday? You mean to tell me, the nipple touch, didn't seal the deal?

You would be surprised. They are a top 10-15 nil school this year. You say that but they don’t have any money to begin with. Football is where the money comes from. Not having a team can’t be a positive.

They are at around 15-16 this year. Thats a lot for a school who is going to go after 1 star and the rest role guys. That’s why more and more top guys are going solo to schools or just 2. Top dollar for a star then figure out the rest.![]()
They spent like 10-12 million we have that tied up in 2 players.

No I’m not on Twitter. No idea what that is. I just have seen more and more guys take the easy money at non traditionals. If Uvwo wants to go be irrelevant at providence go ahead. Doesn’t bother me. It’s like he’s not in college basically.View attachment 1462681
You aren't this guy are you who is not even close on the spending. for any of these teams.
The top 5 claim is nothing more than a guess.Stop. UK is top 5 in NIL spending. Pope just sucks at this.
Touch? You mean pinch? Look at his face. I don't blame him for looking elsewhereYou mean to tell me, the nipple touch, didn't seal the deal?

I sure wish we could spend our “$21M—$23M” like Duke spends their “$14M”.View attachment 1462681

Pope is Tom Crean cringy in some of these pics. No wonder he sucks at recruiting. You mean to tell me, the nipple touch, didn't seal the deal?

If you don't think UK is spending top 5 money, I can't help you. The only reason we got Milan is because we're paying him $6.5 million alone. Pope just can't recruit at a UK level. The top 5 claim is nothing more than a guess.
This is it. We aren’t getting top 5 kids until Pope is gone.If you get your hopes up for Basketball recruiting with Pope at the wheel, that’s on you at this point.
Heck, help turn UK around. Uvwo would have a statue if he got us back into title contention. This kid apparently wants to help a program turn things around and make a mark. Different.

That's absolutely BS. Duke is likely around 30 mil+. They don't have to release financial info. There's a reason they have 10 starting caliber players. Guys aren't sitting the bench just to wear Duke and be a part of the brotherhood. They're getting paid.View attachment 1462681

You're picking up what I'm putting down! He's the guy. Don't let Tennessee get him.Providence’s coach is one to watch for the future. Did well at USF in his one year and won the conference in two seasons at Arkansas State. From Nate Oats coaching tree.
I sure wish we could spend our “$21M—$23M” like Duke spends their “$14M”.
Duke isn't spending 6mm on one player like UK, but their entire roster is unquestionably more expensive. None of these twitter guys know what they're talking about.Seriously. I refuse to believe Duke isn’t outspending everyone by a good amount. They have a projected lotto pick in their 3 deep this year. And their 2nd string would likely be a top 10 team on paper.
We know they have it to spend too. I’d wager, in the form of IOU’s apparently, Louisville outspent most by a good amount too.
