Summer League game between the Heat and Jazz. Of all Heat players, Jarvis has the most minutes (30 (Hopson was #2 with 25)). Stat line: 10 points (4-11), 2-6 FT, 6 boards, 1 assist, 4 blocks, fouled out with a couple minutes left. Wasn't pretty, but got results. His +/- was -11 though. Sadly he's shown even this far that he's only good enough to be on a roster for scouting purposes.

I wish he'd go to a bad team that could afford to play him. I think he'd get better with game experience. Would be pretty cool for the Pelicans to pick him up on a one year contract. We need a center to play behind Jason Smith and Jeff Withey for like 10 minutes.

ETA: One of his 11 shots was a 3, which he missed. So he basically shot 40% but he missed a tip in an UGLY way. His next game will be one to watch.

Appreciate the update on Jarvis. When will be the next game? Will it be on NBA network? Did you watch the last one?

I'm not sure, but all the summer games are over a short amount of time in Las Vegas with only 2 games and then a playoff. Everything is on NBA TV. Metrocast gives me MLB Network for free but doesn't give me NBA TV or the NFL Network, the only two sports stations I'd be interested in.

I should correct my previous post. He did not foul out. He had 6 fouls with his 6th coming with like 20 seconds left. I thought he had fouled out because I didn't see his name again before the game ended, but apparently Summer League is 10 fouls. Not a big deal because I'm sure the coaches and scouts weren't pleased with him getting 6 fouls anyway. He also had a defensive goaltending call with a couple minutes left.

I kept up with the gamecast, similar to what ESPN does. Just live updates. I didn't get to see live action. Obviously the stats don't give the full story, but he looked hit and miss in the 30 second clips of the game you can watch on the website.

Nba tv is showing a heat game at 10 tonight against the celtics.
