Brea is a pretty decent shooter lol. He’s one of those vaunted makers Cal always wanted that he could never find except last year.
Pretty descent ? If he makes his 1st 3 v Jackson tomorrow night he will be shooting 80% on 16 of 20 threes.
Thats not descent Fox, thats unheard of.

Brea is the guy who always played against Kentucky during the Calipari years, and when teams of 3-stars would beat UK's team of 5-stars, we'd all say, 'why don't we have a guy like that?'

I don’t think I’ve ever known a heralded shooter to come in and be this much better than advertised. Also loving his rebounding and even his post up work.

Oh he had plenty, they showed their shooting abilities the day they checked in at other schools after transferring, or in their first practice in the NBA.

I started to laugh when I started reading this post and then I looked over to see who posted it. Then I began to nod. Of course.
I think Brea has improved since he arrived at UK because he's playing more for the team, he's rebounding more, he's looking for teammates more, and he's open more because he's not the only focus of every defense. He's not even starting, which has been rare for him. I was watching an interview with him and it's clear to me he's loving playing at UK and on this team. He's loving that he's surrounded by other guys who can shoot and make plays. And I'm loving having him on this team. He's coming off that bench ready, and if he's got any space, he's money.

Didn't Brea come off the bench at Dayton? I believe he was a 6th man over there.
Yep, you guys are right. I was assuming. He did start some games, but only a few. He started only 4 games last season and 10 the year before.
