AWFUL!!

Just joking. It's great. Don't convince too many folks to switch and clog my network.

Have a Blackberry on Verizon that my company furnishes. Was surprised at the battery holding up the entire game and that was because of the signal strength from the tower.

I've been thinking about dropping CSpire and going with Verizon. Has anyone else made the swap? Opinions?

No problems at all

Have been able to email, text, and use every app on my phone with no problem.

Outstanding.

Emails, texts, and calls come through without a problem. LTE is still fast. I'm glad I made the switch.

Does anybody have experience with Verizon in the Delta, more specifically Greenville? I'm thinking about switching.

No Problems

Verizon is the ****. So much better than AT&T. We can look at scores & everything sitting in the stadium. I will never be back to AT&T or C Spire. Plus, we've got 4G in Starkville...so that's a plus.

A little, I think you will be fine on highways and most towns in the delta but

when you get in the woods it is a different story.

How do the rates compare to AT&T??

For a single phone and line, I currently have 450 roll over minutes, unlimited messaging and 2GB of data. What would the comprable Version plan run me?

I have similar plan on Verizon. No roll over minutes though. 450 anytime landline minutes, all mobile to mobile calls are free regardless of network. This runs $39.99 for one line. 2 GB of data runs $29.99. Messaging is either $10.00/month for 1000 messages or $20.00/month unlimited.

I just went and checked my account. They were still charging me $59.99/month for 450 even though they reduced the price.

so around 100 bucks before taxes...

see that's what I thought. I'm currently paying 75 after tax with my company discount. I want to switch, but just cant see doing it for an additional 25-30 dollars/month.

Works fine for voice, and usually good for texts ... sometimes they're delayed a bit going out. I haven't really tried data but once (to check radar, I think) and that was inside club level and it wouldn't work ... might have been the structure.

I have two phones with a total of 1400 minutes on the Family & Friends (10 of 'em, so I never use my monthly minutes), unlimited text on both, and 2 GB data only on one and the total, including taxes, is about $145. And that's with a 15% discount. I think the data part is about $30.

I used to have AT&T but it got to the point where I had no signal at all at my house. I switched to Verizon, which is a bit more expensive, about 3 years ago and have never had a problem getting a signal anywhere I go and have never had a dropped call. There's about a 20 mile stretch near Hamilton, AL, where I get no signal at all when I travel to MSU, but that's the only place I've ever encountered that. AT&T was dead in the same place. I have an iPhone 4S, which is only 3G, so I can't speak to Verizon's 4G service.

I have a company phone from Verizon and then my company gets a discount. My wife's phone will be around $75/mo. after taxes now. Was only $82/mo.
