Verizon Fios tv - Remote Control not working

The power and volume buttons on the remote control aren't working, everything else important (channel guide, channel up and down, menu) are fine. I unplugged everything, put in new batteries, etc. to no avail. Anyone have this happen and if so, have any advice? Thanks !

Either it's the wrong TV for the remote or you changed batteries & it "forgot" your tv. Google "setup fios remote" for the instructions on how to reprogram.

What Johnny said. If that does not work, throw the remote at the TV as hard as possible. Like Matt Harvey fast.

If you can't figure it out, just get a new one from FIOS. Had trouble with mine and replaced it with no problem.

This is a last century problem .... just turn your phone into a remote or use the fios app. Problem solved .... or continue to live in the 1990's lmao

They go bad sometimes if you abuse the buttons and channel/volume tend to get abused. Just happened to me recently.
