of Honor. There was no better ambassador for MSU than Kent. I was fortunate to call him a friend, and he was an honest, humble, genuine guy. And a lot of fun to be around. I will miss him. Yeah, those allergies are acting up...
The word humble doesn't begin to describe him. Never a bad word about anybody. And when he told stories of his playing days at State or Buffalo, you would be rolling on the floor laughing at some of the stuff they did.
I'll be at his funeral tomorrow. This will be a tough one to get through.
...and they're terribly saddened. The guy made a real impression on everyone how knew him it appears. I met him once at a softball tournament years back and he was as unassuming and genuine as can be. I'm really glad to be able to claim him as a fellow Mississippian. He did us all proud.
