The executive committee voted to approve classes 1–4, but also decided to send the Class 5 and Class 6 realignments back to the drawing board. The two alignment committees are to come up with a solution before the next board meeting in January.

After two years they move teams up or down if they are 5% above or below the enrollment cutoff for their class but they only do a full realignment every four years now.
