The VA Reference page does this on Twitter. It’s terrible! Like what’s the criteria for their rankings? Monticello is a top 10 team? They’re not even top 10 in the Charlottesville area..Amherst #2????? Appomattox #1????? COME ON MANNNN!!!

All of their rankings are based on the past and averages. That's why everything is so skewed. This has nothing to do with who graduated or who returns. I don't even know why they put them out. I guess like any preseason ranking, they are worthless. These just seem more worthless than most. It doesn't matter where you start out, it's where you finish anyway.
