Have you ever seen a visiting team enter the stadium surrounded by the home fans, much less the student section? Seems like all the other stadiums I've been to have had us located right next to the tunnel the Bulldogs ran out of.

Never really thought about it until I looked at the stadium update pics this am. This could get interesting...

Agreed. Especially this area that opens up over where the visiting team will enter and exit. This could be pretty hostile since the majority of fans that would be in this area would be students!

The tunnel at UM is mostly surrounded by home fans. It's in the corner endzone with home fans in the endzone (maybe students... not sure) and the corner, then visitors on the sideline - back of the endzone to 10 yard line. Visitor sections are kind of spaced back because of the sideline so they really aren't as close as the home fans.

In 2012 I was on the first row in the corner directly above where the team comes out (sitting with mostly UM fans). Lots of trash talking between fans and our players in the endzone. The endzone section along side of the tunnel extends down to about 6-8ft above field level so they can almost reach down out & touch the players if they walk close enough. I'd post pictures but I think I deleted everything from that game to try & wipe it from my memory.

I know at the visiting team runs out of the tunnel at the opposite end of the stadium from the visiting fans at Alabama. This tunnel is right beside the student section. Of course there is only one small section for visitors in their lower bowl. Basically the same at Ole Miss except the visitors do have a small section on the same end of the stadium just the opposite side.

I was thinking the team ran out right by us at Bryant-Denny... in the corner of the endzone - completely oposite end of the stadium from the students. Maybe not, I am usually tanked by kick off anytime I have visited BDS.

When I was there in 2008, our section was next to the visitor tunnel but a home section was directly over it. I remember clearly because two 'Bama fans were throwing trash on our players as they entered with a security guard standing fifteen feet away, just smiling and watching. When one of our fans walked over to protest and voices were raised, the security guard threw our guy out.

I think it's great...

I also have heard that all the visitor seats at Tiger Stadium will be in the upper deck..

At OM they heckle their very holy coach and he curses back at them. So it's a wash if OUR team is heckled by their fans too**

Freeze said "17 you" out of love for that guy. He wanted to make sure he and the fan were on the same page.

I know since the latest expansion their has only been one small section of visitors in the lower bowl and it is on the opposite end from the visitors entrance. All of the visitors are in the upper level endzones except for the very few in that section. I sat in that upper level in 2010 and that was like watching from the blimp.
