If anyone could post the set scores for the volleyball quarters today, I'd certainly appreciate it. I do, however, realize this is primarily a football board.

Region A's Rappahannock Raiders over Region B's Altavista 3-0 (25-16, 25-4, 25-14).

Rappahannock moves to 29-1 (only loss to a 4A school who the Lady Raiders later defeated).

Rappahannock awaits the winner of the Rappahannock County v Middlesex state game at 6 pm tonight.

Rappahannock Co. over Middlesex 3-0 (25-14, 25-11, 25-20).

Looks like the Region A Champion Rappahannock (Warsaw) will travel to the Region B Champion Rappahannock (County) for the State Semis battle this Tuesday at 6 pm.

I know one thing for 100% sure, Rappahannock will be winning that game....

I tried that one once before and nobody picked up on it!!! Based on these results, can we assume that the Auburn dynasty is finally over?

Oh, OK...since Auburn had not been mentioned in the above recap, I assumed they had been eliminated somewhere along the line. So if they were to win again, would that make what, about four in a row?

Auburn has not been eliminated and will host Giles on Tuesday....I would guess that Rappahannock is going to be the favorites this year.

Yes, if Auburn was to win it all again that would make it 4 in a row.

However, Auburn is 0-3 against Giles this season and has already lost to the Rappahannock Raiders earlier this season so their run may be at an end.

However, you never know. Auburn did win some sets against both teams and are very well coached.

I was really looking forward to Rappahannock playing Riverheads this season in states again as Riverheads had recently defeated (in state thrillers) these same Rappahannock girls - not once but twice.

Alas, Riverheads was knocked out this year just a little too soon...

Auburn must have played and defeated Giles when they played the 4th time this season for the Region C Championship since they are at home in the state semis - won the #1 seed.

Should be exciting!
