The race for this year's Ferriss Trophy will be the closest in history according to officials from the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame. Mississippi State pitchers Jacob Lindgren and Ross Mitchell have been named finalists for the award, given to the top collegiate baseball player in Mississippi. This year, fans will make up 10 percent of the final vote. You can vote for EACH player one time per day on three different devices from now until Sunday.

3. Register and then hit "Continue" at the bottom
4. Connect with Twitter or Facebook (if you have them) and click "Next Step"
5. Go to the bottom of the next page and click "Next Step"
6. Go to the bottom of the next page and click "Next Step"
7. Click "FINISH"
8. Click "Ferriss Trophy" at the top
9. Scroll down to Jacob Lindgren
10. Click the Facebook icon for Lindgren and click "Share."
11. Click the Twitter icon for Lindgren and click "Tweet."
12. Click the SMS icon and then text JLindgren to 602-336-1593
13. Scroll down to Ross Mitchell
