I'm going to guess they'd have him out of there after the first FOIA request.

“I’ve never ran anyone off in my career unless they broke multiple team rules or just committed a serious crime or something like that,” Nutt said. “That’s never happened.”-Right Rev

Didn't he sign a guy that had committed a serious crime, I mean "crimes" and make him his starting QB last year...or is that considered heepin a poor misunderstood kid out so he could get his Masters in Park and Rec.....no wait....he is not enrolled at UM this semester.....so....what??? We need more so-called journalists with that attitude. As far as the "only in Mississippi" comment in this thread, if only Mississippi actually was a place in which the media told you what the hell was going on. Our state laws and traditions protect institutional secrecy to such an extent that we're all basically bent over as our leaders do whatever the hell they want and we may find out tormorrow or we may not..

That's actually not true at all, Ian Rappaport is all over Saban about this issue, and they can't stand Rappaport... But reporters like he and Veazey are the ones who move up in the world b/c they don't mind asking tough questions, digging a little, and they don't kiss *** like some reporters who are just homers.<div>

for being too critical of Alabama. He was fired from his radio show on WNSP, and the management of that station even admitted as much. He was a fairly well respected beat writer for a local paper, who is now working for a second rate fanzine website. I agree we need more journalism in sports, but sometimes asking the tough questions can be bad for your career.
