No, I wouldn't say that. There is a difference between supporting a program and being a distraction and toxic. MGF is both. He fills the kids and parents heads with nonsense that makes it difficult to get buy-in from everyone at a small school. If he cared, he would stop causing problems. I sit down in front of him at the JV game the night and when the game was in hand, WP ran a play and he screamed "run the spread offense" .... everyone heard him. He is a selfish, attention ***** who can't coach but loves coaching from the stands because its easier.
Cool story, but you just lost any credibility you had. That is why facts are so important.
FACT: #7s Dad screamed "run the spread". He wasn't even sitting next to me, so, it is interesting that you automatically accuse me. Why not address it with me Wednesday in the stands? You were so close. You could have saved yourself the embarrassment of looking like a fool on this thread. Ironically, the people I was sitting with predicted that someone would falsely accuse me of shouting that.
FACT: I've spoken with two WP football players since the season started. One came to my house Friday to borrow some sticky rejuvenation gel for his receiver gloves and the other I asked about his injury after the RHS game. Nothing negative was mentioned. You presume the players are stupid and someone has to tell them what to think.
FACT: Only 1 person in the entire town came to the 2018 school board meeting to support the current HC when he tried to make a back door move to block the OC's nomination for HC. No players, no parents, no neighbors, not even his own family showed up to support him (well, except his sister who was on the school board and was the only vote against the OC's nomination). This is public record. Moral of the story: Don't presume that parents going to the game to cheer for their kids = parents support the HC. Parents talk amongst themselves; they don't need my help, although it is flattering that you give me all the credit.
FACT: #7's dad has the right to scream "run the spread". He sat there all night watching the only offense the JV coach knows not work. He offered a valid recommendation from the stands at a volume so the HC could hear his recommendation. I don't say anything wrong with that.
