Plenty of offense and toss in the kick/punt return yardage who knows how big the numbers were. Had to be seen to be believed. Only negative was about a combined 2 dozen penalties. Look out NND!! This isn't the W&L of the past few years!

Looks like it was a great game. According to the FLS, KW outgained W&L, but 3 interceptions and 16 penalties hurt them. Claiborne had another huge game for KW with 4 TDs, including a 99 yard punt return. The kid is electric and is only a sophomore. Huge win for the Eagles though and lots of power points as well.

NND Sports Fan and KW etc. would you say that, at the moment, you would expect W&L to defeat Essex? Based on scores it looks like W&L would be the favorite but Essex had many turnovers and so on.

W&L defense came up big when it had to. Stopped KW inside the ten yard line a couple of times in the first half. W&L defense was on field almost entire 3rd quarter surviving lost onside kick, lost fumble punt return, and 2 lost fumbles on offense. Thrilling finish with KW returning punt for TD to retake lead with under 2 minute in game. W&L drives 83 yards on 3 plays with Shane McNeil making Odell Beckham like catch in end zone for the win
Yes, those FLS stats are off. The TD catch was made in the rear of the end zone with the LOS being about the 28. Also, W&L was penalized more than 5 times!

I understand what you mean but this is only a W&L highlight. I’m pretty sure if KW put together a highlight reel from that game, it might make W&L look uninspired when KW were making big plays and scoring. The W&L highlight against Rappahannock looked the same way. Rapp just looked lost in that highlight.
