Congrats to the W&L coaching staff and the players on an excellent performance. W&L controlled this one from the jump and executed much better than last week. I loved the way the team kept talking to each other keeping spirits on high regardless of miscues. Coach Taylor does great with not allowing the team to get down after mistakes. Hope you guys keep up the good work on the field and more importantly in the classroom. Take the time to celebrate but lets get back to work on getting better. Let's Go Eagles!!!!

What did Mathews numbers look like? I have heard they are low this year. Anyone know if they have a JV team?

They presently have no JV team and their varsity #s are around 20

That is a shame. A lot of teams in the area have low numbers and are having trouble fielding JV programs.

Agreed, that's not good. A lot of kids not coming out for Football
