W Meck looked like a well coached squad that executed their game plan with precision and took care of the mistake ridden, pedestrian Blue Devil offense with little trouble. Easy win for the Hawks. Go figure.

Idk how anyone else in Mooresville feels- but I am about sick and damn tired of this weak "stuff" offense we continuously put on the field each week. Something like the first 11 plays were Donshell up the middle. As if West Meck wasn't ready for that. The first pass attempt wasn't until 2 mins left in the half when by that point we were already down 20-3.... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I should be clear I do not blame the HC for our inept offense. I've seen his offense at hickory Ridge-- it was dangerous. But whoever calls our offense now (I presume the OC) should be ashamed. Never even gave us a chance to succeed last night.

Oh well- let's get ready for I-Meck football.... last place :|

I feel your pain brother. It's the mental mistakes, and a lack of attention to detail, that drive me nuts ( along with the things you mention ). By the end of November you should have your squad running it's offense on high test fuel, like we've seen from Lake Norman, and last night with WM. Both of those programs made Mooresville look bad and I give them high marks for their hard work in all phases of preparation and game management. The entire Mooresville program has room for improvement this off season, God knows their gonna need it going forward. Good luck guys.

The better team won and could had really embarrassed Mooresville. Look in the mirror. Mooresville is not a 2a school anymore, you are comfortably a 4aa with a 2a/3a mindset/mentality. This is a new world for Mooresville. Glad Lake Norman has figured it out but Mooresville simply isnt ready for 4aa football. That's the honest truth

I 100% agree with you champ-- I've said that for years. And the honest truth is until MHS is willing to allow the head coach to have total control on who he can bring in on his staff- Mooresville will always fall flat on their faces. Our offense simply regressed the entire season- and I just don't understand how that's even possible. And I feel bad for the defense players and coaches, because that side of the ball was fantastic all season long

they had one receiver who could outrun anybody on Mooresville and he got his. Mooresville stopped WM three times in the red zone, forcing field goals. WM had only 4 fg attemps on the season coming in to this game. the thing that KILLED Mooresville was the inability to move the sticks and finish red zone drives. The WM defense stuffed a couple 4th and shorts down close themselves. Teams were comparable in both size and speed imo. WM looked more polished and diverse on offense, reminded me alot of The Lake. love their brand of offense. not sure if they have anything for Page tho. also impressed with their facilities, first class.

Tbh west Meck didn't impress me all that much. #11 for them was impressive at WR. I think LKN would have no problems handling West Meck, let alone Page.

To some up our night- 4 different series where we were in the red zone..... ZERO points from those trips. That just won't win you games. I honestly find the lack of creativity/diversity in our offense disturbing. As we saw, even a team that isn't stout at defending the run can stop our offense when they know what's coming. Last night was as disgusted as I've been in some time watching Mooresville football to be honest
