This team is flawed but they have still overprrformed without Mag. They beat Wisky and PSU on the road. Steve was an excellent coach yesterday and will be tomorrow. But he didn't deserve a statue yesterday and still doesn't.I am fully confident that they will win Sunday and if not in the Wednesday tourney game. Even without either, they are still likely a play in team with all the Quad 1 wins and almost as importantly road wins.It was an awful loss, but Penn State was a better win.

Yes we did beat a good PSU team. But we lost to Nebraska at home and lost to a 1-16 team.

2-5 with games on the schedule against Nebraska and Minny is far from impressive. No Mag hurts for sure, but that’s a hell of a spin job

There's simply no excusing this one or making it suck any less. 10 point lead with a minute left. Couldn't get one stop. Couldn't get one rebound.

This team might (probably?) still make the tournament based on the good wins they have, but they quite honestly do not deserve to even with a win on Saturday at Northwestern (LOL FS1) on Sunday against Northwestern.
Last year's team was objectively the worst we've had of the last four seasons but at least they had the god damn decency to put their ****** play at the beginning of the season.

Last years team would smoke this years team. Only reason for a bad seed last year was one terrible loss in November. This team is just loved by metrics for no reason.
If you discount the final 10 seconds the team sans PM and coach did fine. PM single handedly spotted Minny about 8 points in the second half alone. Should never have even been in that position. I guess you can call Pike out for leaving PM in but other than that we played decent.
To be fair Minnesota was far better last year. But last year's team had other terrible losses.
