Oh, the irony that the one thing that a certain Walker "confidante" and Flood plumper predicted in the spring and summer of "Flood Love" that came true - Walker's decommitment - actually probably throws more egg on his face.

Hopefully, this douses the last remaining embers of the "Flood should stay to save the recruiting class" arguments.

What would you say would be the probability of Schiano flipping at least one member of the NJ 2016 dream team?

At Tennessee they aren't called whores (or hostesses), they are called........VOLUNTEERS !

He'll join Gary there.

Funny how the best recruits in NJ are choosing B1G schools.
Rutgers joining the conference has surely helped the other football programs in the B1G.

Hmmmm. Partridge really ruffled the feathers of the other NJ head coaches. Wasn't that the excuse used by Flood for not hiring him. He has now had a hand in bringing in 2 from Camden and has two on the hook from North Jersey Parochials. Not a fan of Partridge (think he is slimy) but he sure is getting an audience with NJ's top talent.

Would have liked to have him, but I'm not too worried about it.

Exactly. Let's not hire him because other NJ coaches don't like him and won't send their players to RU. Oh wait, we aren't getting those players in the first place.

My point exactly. Guys reward far outweighed his risk in my opinion. Not like you needed to have a long term contract. Give him one year with performance incentives.

TOSU had already backfilled the spot before the guy moved on. Took one of UW's top RB recruits--Williams--another 4* guy.
