Wallace Rose is up 34-14 and it doesn't look liek Starmount can come back.

Glaspie has 118 yards rushing and Canady has 109 yards rushiing, as Wallace Rose has over 300 yards rushing in this game tonight so far.

Johnson has 120 yards for Starmount, but they only have 111 total rushing yards in the game.

Congrats to the 'Dogs! Wallace-Rose Hill will be the odds on favorite to win it all again next year with that bevy of speed returning in the backfield.

WRH team speed too much for Starmount. Congrad. To
Wallace for great season. Also good article today
on Bob Lee is career at Clinton in Fayetteville
Observer.

Starmount had a great season and a hard nosed bunch of kids, but the speed of WRH was just to much to overcome.

Congrats WRH. Well deserved. The first offensive play of each half and that stop at the end of the first half were back breakers. Great season Starmount.

Dana,WRH has athletes like this every year. Teachy is
full of kids year in year out. I've known Joey Price
for many years,he is a motivator and good game coach.
Starmount had no answer for speed of Wallace. Joey
lives off Jet sweeps. And does it well. Bulldogs will
win many more in years to come. I don't know how
Starmount beat Swain so bad,just can't figure that one
out. Congradulations to Starmount for their season.
Now,Clinton is loaded too. This may be best game of
the day. Kevin from Swain was saying that WRH is a 2a
team,and that is what east is doing to beat Western
teams. Overall WRH is the best in 1A football this
year.

I expected Starmount to control the LOS but it just didn't happen.

Great game by two good teams. Congrats to WRH and congrats to Starmount on representing the west.

schools are basically the same size. That 2a argument just went to hell in a handbag.
