As I've thought about the last couple of games, it seems like we have not exactly competed with relentless effort. We've played hard for the most part, but particularly at Vandy, when we NEEDED to have a stop, we couldn't muster up enough effort to get one, and when we NEEDED to get a good shot, we didn't do whatever it took to get one (making it is another story). The football team sometimes gets accused of hanging around against the LSUs and Bamas of the world, waiting for something bad to happen so we could go ahead and lose. I felt that same thing in the Vandy and UM games. This is a winnable game, but we may likely be faced with some of those same type moments tonight. I hope we crank it up.
