There is a path to hosting. We just have to win games. We need to be 3-1 week. We need a big performance from a unexpected pitcher or two Wednesday against UMISS in Pearl because anybody that throws many pitches will be burned till Sunday.

We would probably be top #20 RPI if we had 2 more wins out of those disaster games against Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss, USA, UCA, & Austin Peay.

Is there a site somewhere that summarizes what is affecting your RPI game to game? This seems like an even bigger jump than would be expected.

Obviously what's going on with past opponents is big. We've played Memphis twice and they got their hindquarters swept by ECU this weekend but I gotta assume that really helps out opponents opponents record. Too much going on.

Yeah, I look at that weekly or so. I seem to remember a site that was really detailed on what's affecting RPI, but that was probably basketball.

Wow. Didn't realize he still had that site going. Per his latest, before this weekend, we'll need 5-2 vs Bama & Mizzou & UNA, the UM game, and 2 of 3 at Arkansas to get to top 16.

Do you not understand the importance our fans put on midweek games? Just because the rest of the world sees them for the practice games they are, doesn’t mean we can treat them as such.
