that Milan substituted liberally. These are warm-ups for the Euro squads. Inter lost on PK's to a Mexican team and looked incredibly uninterested in doing so. And no, they are still in Serie A (the top division). You're probably thinking of 2 years ago when they didn't qualify for the Champions League because they finished 5th in Serie A and only the top 4 qualify.

I did think it was hilarious that Beckham was booed mercilessly.

Can't remember what year it occurred but it was a big time match fixing scandal. I remember Juventus got demoted for a year to the Serie B league.

Beckham finishes his contract with the Galaxy. L.A. better make sure they get some cash out of him. I'm not sure too many teams will be willing to buy out his ridiculous contract.

Forgot about that. Juventus did get relegated. I think AC and Inter lost some points, but that was it. I want to say it was either 06 or 07.

I think they played in the Serie B for 06/07, won the championship, and was immediately promoted back.
