They are very impressive, but I wonder how successful they would be against SEC competition.

It would be very interesting to see, imho.

We will never be highly successful, I've accepted that much. But at least we would be fun to watch while we lose.

Sad to see how far UK has regressed and then watch UofL and WKU pass us up in the time period since Mitch became our athletics director.

Southern miss is good too. We play them first game of the season next year I think.

Southern Miss will light us up next season. Lots of speed and good defense. Thank goodness we didn't play WKU this season.

Certainly they could recruit better if they had a schedule full of SEC teams.

Come on Guys.....you just watch how much we improve after the "grueling" off season that Stoops has planned. We could be preseason #1.

They lost to LSU this year 48-20. Their other loss was to Indiana (another bowl team) 38-35.

WKU did beat Vanderbilt at Vandy first game of the season. LSU/WKU was played entirely in a rain storm. Though LSU likely would have won it was difficult to gage the outcome.

What I see with WKU is a team that gets the most out of their players. They understand their strengths and weaknesses and they have an identity which is something Stoops either doesn't think is important or doesn't know how to achieve.

Yeah, they barely beat terrible Vandy...and LSU would have probably won by more in better conditions.

But here is the problem with your comments.....they BEAT a terrible Vandy team that we DIDN'T beat......LSU would've absolutely curb stomped us much like MDU did, at least WKU gave LSU a fight.

Our guys wouldn't know how to put up a good fight if they were, shown how.

Gotta say I'm a proud Hilltopper alum today! Western is only a FG away from being 12-1. Hope they can sustain this in the future but I'm not expecting Brohm to be in Bowling Green next fall, especially if they win their bowl game.

Your AD has a history of making good hires though ,when people are wanting to hire your coaches away you're doing something right .
