If Army can visit us in 2020,we have the flexibility to return there in 2022 if the B1G retains its 5 and 4 alternating home game schedule. We have home games to buy for 2018-1 or 2- and 2 for 2019.

According to FBS,we have a doubleheader scheduled on the 20th anniversary of 9/11,playing UCLA at home and Temple at the Linc.If Flood is still coaching,he'll have to start the backup QB in the nightcap.

But the starter gives us the best chance to go 2-0 that day. Even if we lose the first game!

With only three OOCs per year, we really don't have the flexibility to be giving out home-and-homes to non-P5 opponents. Yeah, I know we did with Temple. Which leaves us with even less flexibility to do it with others.

Forget Navy. They have eight AAC games, Army, Air Force, and ND. That leaves them only one discretionary game, and they will want to schedule down with it.

Yes, we have an excellent tradition with them going back decades. And it doesn't hurt that we usually win. They are a far more prestigious opponent than Sun Belt or AAC schools that we will have to play t even sniff bowl eligibility once we play 9 conference games and no FCS.
