We can thank our 3rd basemen for this one.

Norris throws a bad throw to first then can't stop a 3 hopper from getting past him to give up 2 stupid runs. Then all Frost has to do is step on 3rd for the force and he makes a bad throw to first to give up the final run. Graveman pitched great except for the 2nd when he got a few pitches up. Gotta get the W on Sunday now.

Both were routine plays that should be made by anyone starting at 3rd and his gimp knee had zero to do with it.

That doesn't change the fact that Frost sucks, but to defend either of the errors Norris committed is absurd.

I'm just saying that I am more understanding of Norris making one than Frost making them.

That doesn't mean I'm OK with it.

Ole Miss also made a couple nice defensive plays on some bloopers that would normally have fallin in. A big thing I'm noticing is not getting the lead off man one enough. I think we only had two base runners today get on to start the inning with no outs.

we hit it right at 17'n players....."well hit balls, right at people"....we said that last year....we have been saying it all season...at what point is it that our guys are not SEC caliber players, or our coaching sucks.....at this point, "young" and "we hit good ball right at people" is getting old......why doesn't the other top 10 SEC clubs have "all season" problems of hitting balls right at players???

WAY too long looking the runner back at second and then realized he was going to have to rush the throw to first to have a chance to throw out the runner. THAT is what caused the bad throw. I've never seen such a long stare down to keep a runner at base before making a throw, just a very fundamental mistake by Norris.
