If he is, they haven’t announced them yet. The only transfer announced as being signed since O’Brien’s hiring is Reese Black, the one from Charlotte, but she’s been announced as committed since before Thanksgiving.Lipscomb had a couple of good juniors on their team didn't they? I would guess he is bringing a couple of players over?
If he's a "I'm not going to pillage my old team" guy, then he was the wrong hire. That said, I'd be surprised if there's more than a couple of SEC players on his old team to begin with.If he is, they haven’t announced them yet. O’Brien might be one of those “I’m not going to pillage my old team” types. I don’t know. I think yesterday was the final day of the normal women’s soccer transfer window. I think special cases (coaching changes, graduate students, etc.) can still enter, but if we haven’t announced anybody at this point, I’m not sure when we will.
Honestly, I’d trust @TimberBeast word on it. He seems to have his finger on the pulse over there.
Well they were good enough to beat one SEC team…If he's a "I'm not going to pillage my old team" guy, then he was the wrong hire. That said, I'd be surprised if there's more than a couple of SEC players on his old team to begin with.

D’Aloise transferred in from maybe Texas Tech & played a couple of years at State. She had a big role in Armstrongs early building years. Was looking at the coaches soccer website, Kat Stratton stayed which is good you can't argue she can develop goalies. Henry Zapata stayed as well according to the website. Also Alyssa D'Aloise who I believe played at state. So kept some continuity, but not sure if he is bringing on others? Also I hope this post annoys cooter.
I’ll say to be honest I know about the current team but I doubt I’ll know about incoming players. If I hear anything I’ll post it for sure.If he is, they haven’t announced them yet. New commit I saw shared on a recruiting site. Looks to be from Michigan State.
I had a boss many years ago that was a big Michigan State basketball fan. We had a lot of confusing conversations. I had to tell him you’re in Mississippi, State means Mississippi State.Michigan state? This smells of a confused espn intern
One of the announcers in the XBox bowl has referred to Missouri State as Mississippi State multiple times tonight.Michigan state? This smells of a confused espn intern
Got one from Texas and one from App State.
I actually forgot how bad Texas was this year. We’re bringing in a lot of players, but not sure how many SEC quality players. A lot from lower divisions, 2 from maybe the worst 2 SEC schools. I doubt we make the NCAA tournament next year.
Fact:I actually forgot how bad Texas was this year.
A reminder on how this is a win

Well, over the past 3 years, soccer has easily been our best program and we’re seeing back to back coaching changes with our most successful coaches being poached by Mississippi State alumni and former AD’s. So, you get several hallmarks of a good Sixpack thread:I am amazed at this post and how many have posted. Actually, I know very little about soccer, I would think to be good you need to be fast, quick and hustle like you are trying to win a marathon race. I have been to maybe 3 or 4 matches before.
But way to go patdog for bringing attention to the sport.
