Some of these idiots will go down with Stans just like the sheep of Croom... We should be undefeated right now, that's right undefeated.. There are no excuses for losing to Rider, Richmond and WKU. These early season losses all come back to our coach not having his team ready to play and not being able to coach his team to a victory. It's nothing new, and will happen every year with Stans. He just can not win outside of the SEC on a consistent basis.

There is no comparison in Croom and Stansbury. Period. I will say this slowly for you....every team in America outside of maybe the top 2 or 3 will lose some games they shouldn't......every single team. Do they freak out and fire the coach? No because most sane people realize that there is a reason for playing 30+ ball games.
I'll tell you what happens every year: We do lose a couple that we shouldn't. Then we win some we shouldn't. We end up winning 20+ games and some type of SEC championship (Overall, West, or Tourney), make the NCAAs, and some of you will still sit there and harp on a 17ing Nov/Dec loss instead of realizing that "holy ****, you mean we actually won some games afterwards?" because you were too busy bitching to realize that MSU basketball under Stansbury has been the only consistent winner on the whole 17ing Godforsaken Indian Burial ground that we call M-State. But don't let me interupt the fellatio of Mullen and Cohen who have not yet passed .500 in win percentage while you continue to ***** that we can't run an offense in spite of the fact that we are near the top of the SEC in several offensive categories. Hallelujah. Holy ****. Let's beat Ole Miss saturday.

What is acceptable to you? We've lost 3 games that we shouldn't have lost. To win three games that we shouldn't win would put us at a 15-1 record in the SEC. Will that happen?

What are your expectations? How many years in a row do you want to accept blowing our seeding/shot at the NCAA's in December? Nobody would be complaning with a 14-1 record, even though we didn't play anybody. People would feel pretty good had we won last night and gone in at 12-2. But 3 is just too much.

as unreasonable as some people are about Stansbury...hardly anybody is complaining about losing some games they shouldn't...People are complaining about always losing OOC games we should win....but rarely winning OOC games where the other team's talent is comparable or better.

Unfortunately, I think it's unlikely we'd do better trying to hire a different coach, as beating up patsy's OOC and winning enough in a weak SEC to be a tourney team is a decent season, and doing that consistently is a pretty good, if frustrating, program. But I would like to schedule some more top 50 teams in the OOC. If we really can't compete with top 50 teams, then I might be willing to risk taking a step backward in order to try to improve.

is that evaluating talent is purely subjective and highly dependent on how much you hate Stans. If you hate him like 34 and fishwater do, you believe we have the same talent as the Duke's and Kentucky's of the world. Therefore we should never lose an OOC game. If you do like Stans you realize we don't start 5 Parade All American future first-round picks, and without such, winning 30 straight is hard to do.

you don't think we have better or comparable talent to richmond, rider and WKU?

I know that WKU team last night was not impressive. Hell, they were without 1 of their 3 best players.

not necessarily talking about these three games. I was referring to his entire career which is what coach and the original poster were also talking about.

The problem is obvious here. The gayness that is Ricks Rowdies has infiltrated the teams locker room.get rid of the fruitloops in that section and replace them with all of you guys, including me and you will see a change.

When have we beaten an OOC opponet that we should not have? name one. I can not think of any team latley...
Now the SEC, that is totally different and Stans is pretty damn good coaching in the SEC. I am not in favor of firing Stans at this point, but if we finish below .500 in the SEC two years in a row, then sign me up. Stans will sign 4 or 5 good MS recuits in the 2011 class and we will all get wooly and Stans will once again under-achive as a coach. You just don't understand how important it is to beat these weak OOC opponents. It really kills your NCAA seeding and we will once again not make the Sweet 16 b/c of it. We now have 3 bad losses and no real good wins. You have to win the games against inferior players, but Stans can't seem to do it. We don not run an offense we live and die by the 3 ball....

Even though this board has told me we have NO CHANCE to do anything this year. I am not going to give up either so at least 2 of us aren't.

We still have 16 games plus the SEC tournament left. I am very disappointed with our losses so far but we still have games left to play. Lets see what happens the rest of the year.

I just find it stupid to give up before conference play has even begun, but that may just be me.

You can ***** all you want to, But the only team in the SEC worth a crap this year is Kentucky. And that's because they have an all-world point guard.

They also have a damn coach (scumbag that he is) instead of The Clapper.

....this was a must win game. Do you realize what this and Rider and Richmond does to us? It prevents us from getting a seed that will allow us to have a realistic chance of advancing to the second weekend. Now, we'd have to do something like go 14-2 or 13-3 to get there, which is not happening. Hell, 10-6 probably squeaks us in the tournament. Our RPI was 68 before last night. We have 5 games with people with higher RPI's, so there are not alot of opportunities to help that.

For all practical purposes, any hopes of the Sweet 16 went out the window last night. And we are in danger at this point of not dancing at all. What will you say then? This was supposed to be a top 20 team. What a joke.
seems the smart thing to do for you is to sell your remaining tix and cut your losses. It just seems you have competely given up so heck...sell while u can. I figure your chances of finding a buyer are still fairly decent at this point.

Yeah that makes sense. Give up on a team that is 12-3 heading into what most call a weak conference schedule. Using that logic MSU football would have been given up on in about 1942.
