We lost 21 - 3 to number 13. All is well.

I think if we lost 38-20 we would feel better. The pathetic offense just made it seem so much worse

Don't freak out. Look at the big picture.

/kidding aside. I was glad to see a lot more effort out there. Coaching was the problem today.

Just imagine if Mullen had handed over the reigns of the D to Collins last year instead of Wilson. Only giving up 3TD's to OSU is something to be proud of, I guess. I'd feel better if we hadn't been shut out on offense.

Doesn't coaching affect effort?

The effort instilled in the defensive players will be quickly sapped by what's going on with the offense (or total lack thereof).

Game was not as . . . . .

close as the final score indicated. But, at least the defense never quit.

despite what i have been pushing all night, i largely agree, but i have been really disappointed in what i have seen by both sides of the ball. the offense was as expected, but a slightly shittier version and our defense was not nearly as aggressive as advertised. 6-6.

I just don't see OK St being a top 15 team at end of the season. They have a pretty easy schedule so that may help them - but to say they are basically equal to LSU... I don't see it.

Even so. Losing 21 - 3 to number 13 has my *** in the recliner watching better teams and dozing off to the fact that we just aren't top 25 material anymore.
