Negative fans are hurting the program. Many of the things said about our players and Cal during the season helped and are still helping programs like Duke.

What you really have to appreciate about that thread is that guy really, truly, honestly believed in his premise with all his heart. And he'll go to his grave believing it. You have to admire that kind of dedication to lunacy based on unapologetic love of his basketball program.

I’m surprised we don’t have fan accusing the refs of having a small remote control device planted in the ball so they can disrupt our free throws by creating the Wobble Ball (TV reference). That way the officials can send the Cats to the line multiple times, make it look fair or even biased to UK, then screw the Cats anyway.

Not surprisingly, the headline and intro to the article do not accurately reflect his post.

You can disagree with Steve’s theory (it is certainly not infallible), but you can at least recognize how his comments were mis-framed before they were quoted.

But hey, I’m sure some people were too busy disproving ESPN’s article that our players didn’t shake hands, to verify the accuracy of the Deadspin article.

BS! Nothing was taken out of context. The mere premise of the post is idiotic and anyone defending the same.

Again, this site has been embarrassing the program for several years.

Are you sure that didn’t happen??? A couple of those free throws did have an odd little movement mid flight.

******* RIGHT, GUYS. But like I said, I wonder if they'll at least ACKNOWLEDGE that PJ was the ONLY UK player to attempt a free throw over the last 18:50 of the game ? Or that UK went 10 and a half minutes in the 2nd half without shooting even ONE free throw attempt (WEIRD considering we shot 24 in the First Half alone) until PJ shot the Final ELEVEN UK free throws in just a 7 minute span the Final 8:24 of the game ????? But yes, go ahead and stay in your comfort zones and don't act like any of this is weird and suspicious as ****. Cool. Doesn't matter to me. And thanks, Deadspin..you words twisting clowns. But thanks for the love anyway. :smiley::smiley::smiley::smiley:
