We may have as many fans at Ark as Ark will

Their stadium was only half full vs Auburn last week. Now they have lost 6 in a row with an interim coach. Ark fans have checked out. Maybe the players have too. I think we get up early and pull away by a lot in this one. Our players are pissed off and eager to show that they are a good team. More than anything, I believe State is still playing for something and the Hogs aren't.

Both of our upper decks looked very similar to that one as far as attendance goes last week. We've lost 4 in a row (1 a blow out and 3 due to bone headed management). Add in the 8 conference ones we lost last year and we are up to 12 in a row there too. They haven't shown any quit this season so far but I wouldn't be surprised to see at least some of our guys mentally check out as well. This could be the Futility Bowl, especially if we get down early

I want to believe. But since they fired Pittman, they've lost by 3 to both Tennessee & Arkansas despite outgaining both of them in yardage, and by 9 to a pretty bad Auburn team in a game they turned the ball over 4 times.

Ive seen no signs this State team quits. But State fans sure as hell are. You'll see that Nov 8.

I can't remember the year. Maybe 01.... Anyways I went to our game there. We had maybe 200 fans there. It was me and player families. No band. I felt out of place being there.

Half of the Upig fans are pissed at the teams performance, another third, don't want Petrino around.
That won't be enough for us to just waltz in and do a walk over.

I don’t expect we are bringing a big crowd for this one. I know for a fact we returned most of our ticket allotment. Had we won a couple more games I could’ve seen where there might be a surge in demand from our side, but I doubt it at this point.

I do know our pep band is at least making the trip. But generally expecting empty seats galore for the whole stadium.

They’ve pretty much already played all their big name home games this year and lost all of them. I don’t anticipate their fans being hugely interested in showing up for this one.

Does the reality that all these guys are playing for a paycheck, either at MSU or potentially elsewhere, limit the checked out mentality? I mean in old days, sure, you are stuck with a program, but not now. If you perform, someone will pay you.

One would think. We've got some OL that seemingly forgot how to block or are forgetting responsibility on particular plays that seem to have checked out weeks ago

I don't mean so much as we have a big contingency as I don't know if many folks show up to call the Hogs.

I doubt many State fans will be there. My daughters attends UoA so we are going and bringing friends with us. It’s also her 21 birthday weekend so we will celebrate and have a good time and watch somebody loose. My track record of attending State games there in basketball and baseball says we will lose Saturday. I have no expectations but to have a great visit with my daughter and have fun at Silver Dollar City on Sunday.

Making my first trip to a game there on Saturday. This will be my 7th different visiting SEC stadium. I think I’m batting .500 so far. Saw us win in Oxford, Baton Rouge, and Auburn, but took L’s in Tuscaloosa, Athens, and Knoxville.
