They want no mid-majors in the final four they put Kentucky there becuase they were the anti-witcha state and them putting Louisville as a four seed as a backup plan to knock out WSU just in case

Correction ment this one is dirty in title

WSU should have won it regardless but you are right. The committee very clearly stacked the deck. Arguably the most talented 8 seed ever and a very poorly seeded Louisville team. Many were saying Louisville might get a one seed and instead get a four. Then add in Michigan being the best two seed.

The entire tournament is completely retarded.

If you turn the tables and WSU wins, everyone would talk about how the deck was stacked against UK.

The deck is stacked against everybody in the tournament. There's too many ******* teams and it's single elimination.

They wanted the Louisville-Kentucky matchup.... wait for it, in Indianapolis.... wait for it, home of the Pacers.**

Just wait until football season with the 12 person selection committee. Take the power away from the stats and voters, this is what you get.

The "intriguing matchup rumor" before the tournament was that UK-Memphis would be the 8-9 game. I'm assuming that Memphis fans still despise Cal. That would have made the regional even more awesome. Still, the whole idea of freaking UK getting to play the role of the scrappy underdog is laughable.

And don't worry about the football playoffs. The "little guy" will most definitely NOT get the same chances to slay Goliath that the basketball tournament offers.

Epic Sweet 16 matchup. Two bitter rivals. Two coaches who are not fond of each other. Ricky P is the most hated man in the Commonwealth outside the Watterson. Rumors swirling that this is his swan song. In a dome that's only a couple of hours away. Can't beat that.

I'm not a big Cal fan, but this team lost to South Carolina 3 weeks ago, got beaten badly at Florida two weeks ago, and now they are facing Darth Vader for a chance at the Elite 8.

I am calling BS. If Wichita State wants to win a national championship, they have to play with the big boys instead of the bush league teams they play during the regular season. Wichita probably shouldn't have been a #1 seed, but if they weren't, with their undefeated record, then everyone would be complaining about that.

Waah, Waah, poor Wichita State lost. I guess the committee should have only let them play mid-majors until they get to the Final Four. News flash, Kentucky isn't that great. They lost 10 games this year playing in a ****** conference. They deserved an 8 seed. They lost to freaking South Carolina for God's sake. If Wichita wants to show they are big time, then step up and play big boy basketball against major conference teams.

If teams would schedule WSU, they would play them. Just this year alone multiple teams cancelled talks with them because they went to the final four (including KState). Last week Bill Self said he'd never agree to playing WSU because they are too good and not enough of a big name to take the chance.

Their conference is not their fault. It's not the basketball team's fault there is no football team and limited options for a different conference. Creighton just moved out of the conference so there is hope for WSU.

If they weren't seen as a good team by other coaches, then they'd get those games you speak of.
