We need a stud Shortstop and Catcher

One of the keys to baseball is being strong up the middle Catcher, SS, 2nd and CF…. We really haven’t had a stud SS and 2B since Foscue and Westburg. It looks like we have a Catcher transferring in and doesn’t Mershon catch as well.

Hopefully this year we can actually stop some people from stealing

Catcher is the most needed. We can manage with Lucas and Gatlin, but we really give up some pop. Hopefully there will be a productive SS out there who can offer consistent defense and a productive bat, too. Right now I am unsure whether Lucas or Gatling will return, but hopefully they will.

We need a stud SS and catcher. Need to replace Sawyer and upgrade catcher. Those positions + another weekend starter and 3-4 relievers and I'll feel really good about next year.

Sullivan should be serviceable at first. Just go get another power bat, 1B will be fine.

Can we get Ole Miss's 6'5"/250 lb short stop to transfer in? Asking for a friend. He had 22 HRs......couldn't that help us a little bit?
