We need to up Mullen's salary to 3.5 million, tomorrow. This could be done without stressing the budget by eliminating the OC & DC positions and replacing Tony and Melvin with GAs. This would retain football's greatest coach and greatly improve our offense and defense. Dan doesn't need no help. Keep a few guys to sharpen his pencils, carry his clip boards, and give him plenty of yes'sa.

*Blank stare*. Color me confused. I'm not following at all.

First off, It's Dan, not ***. Is this a post in support of the assistants that aren't cutting it, a slam at Mullen, or something I'm not following? This isn't Croom we're talking about here and deserves a little more respect than the sarcastic jive you're throwing around. Proper changes will be made and quite honestly, I'm in full support of Melvin and Tony being shown the door along with Wilson and Hevesy, the latter of which is not likely. So I'm not following the Mullen hate exactly. Does he have a ton of control over the offense? Certainly and deserves blame for their performance but that's the nature of the beast when you hire an ex top OC for your head coach. The defense however, I think he stays pretty hands off and lets Wilson run the show and honestly, that show needs to end asap.

Well let me help you out. Mullen makes over $200,000 a month. First let that sink in. His team was so uninspired that they literally came out in the second half of their biggest game of the year and just decide to not give an effort. That ain`t on Wilson, Melvin, Tony, Mo, Joe, Curly or who the 17 ever....it`s on Mullen. I couldn`t stand Croom but he did leave behind players that played hard til the final gun sounded. If you went to or even watched the aTm game you saw that Mullen has put together a house of cards with very little character or leadership on the sidelines or the field. All this while becoming wealthy on our dime. "deserves a little more respect" maybe...maybe not.

It's on Mullen to make the proper changes. If Wilson is still around by January, it shows Mullen has no direction for this program. I'm going to take a wait and see approach before falling off the Mullen wagon. The head coach deserves responsibility no doubt but honestly I haven't been sold on a number of his assistants and questionable hires. Again, that's his responsibility. I'm trusting that the right changes be made for the time being. My whole deal is there's no way Mullen's going to risk his own career here by clinging onto terrible assitants like Croom did with McCorvey. I just can't see him doing that. I may be wrong though and if so, I'm going to be very disappointed.
