Our defense did all they could do. Special teams couldn't run it past the 20 with Bumphis(I don't know what the hell is wrong with him) and when we ran the quick snap count, it was thrown LSU way off. Why abandon it? Russell came in and worked that first series great, but then he comes in the 2nd and takes the clock down to the end and the crowd freaks him out. Mullen should have seen that and made adjustment. I'm sick of 17'n losing. This LSU team was very beatable.

For the 2nd week in a row, Mullet is trying to be too cute. He needs to stick to our strengths(running) and throw in some wrinkles when needed. I've said it before, the quick snap was the best thing we were doing and then they let Ralph throw to Patterson. Arggghh.. He did this last week. At least one thing about the Kang, he went student body right and then some with Todd Jordon and about 6 big backs against Ole Miss and ran 3 clouds and dust all day and then, when they expected it again, he threw it deep. We don't have that!!!</p>

I don't understand it. I am confused why we even really try to throw the ball downfield. Our receivers (Bumphis, Heavens, and Clark) are all the same type of players. the only passes we should be throwing are receiver screens and short routes.

Our receivers aren't built to be down field threats even though Clark has shown he has some great hands.
I think I may have even been ok with Mullen telling Relf just to completely ignore the side of the field Peterson is on during passing plays.

for many years. There is no consolation in that at all. Talent wins football games and obviously LSU has way more than we have. I think we should have run more as well...long as Relf was doing the running.I thought Relf could have run on them all night or at least until LSU loaded up tostop it.Russell came in after the hit on Relf and actually took us to a score. Don't know if Relf was knocked too silly to reenter the game or not. I did not like the way we just tucked our tails before the half even though going in the dressing room and trying to regroup was probably the best thing. I believed before the season started we would be 1-2 right now so here we are. Question now is what do we do from here? So far I have seen one SEC team we can beat....Ole Miss. All others are probably losses.
